Gerberas are the perfect flower for all occasions. They symbolise friendship and cheerfulness. Gerberas are a great way to brighten someone’s day.

Gerberas can last up to a week in a vase, keep the water level quite low (about 1 inch of water) this will stop the stems from going soft and rotting in the water. Keep your eye on the water level though, Gerberas can be quite thirsty!

Gerberas thrive in hot, sunny conditions sheltered from strong wind. Gerberas like well-drained soil and can be grown in pots and garden beds. Cut of any spent blooms during flowering season to promote new growth. Gerberas are a bright and colourful addition to your garden.
